Outdoor Track

The outdoor circuit as always is both extremely fast and a great flow to the track, making this an idea circuit for the less experienced and that of the regular drivers with much more experience.

We have introduced plastic barriers to cushion any run-ins that may occur to soften the situation, these barriers will cover the first stage of the circuit with is much faster than that of the secondary sectors.

There were last year some areas that caused minor damage to karts rubbing over curbs which were to high, the 'S' bend curbs have been dropped allowing us to position the circuit in the sector to allow for different types of drivers.

Our new area also allows for the circuit to run BOTH DIRECTIONS which hasn't been possible previously, the anti-clockwise will follow in about 4 weeks so that we can monitor the new layout to confirm that in the worst-case scenario the standard type of drivers are able handle the increase in speed into much sharper turns.

We are having new software installed over the next 4-5 weeks; this will enable us to use a fully lighting system, at this time the circuit will be managed by standard racing flags.

The outdoor circuit unlike the indoor circuit will not utilise the speed control override as this in a large area has limited control and so we have decided to not to introduce this.

Also whilst waiting for the software, the outdoor circuit will have limited driver results and because of this for the moment only practice sessions are possible, but this will follow the opening in about 3 week.
